5 Teams MOBA: Project ZETA CB Starts
Imagine a MOBA where eliminating one enemy squad is only the beginning—three more teams are already closing in from behind. This is the experience Project ZETA try to deliver.

The upcoming MOBA has been announced that registration for its next ClosedBeta test is now open, with the test scheduled to begin on December 12 via Steam. This Final Closed Beta represents the last opportunity for early access before the official release, and the development team is actively encouraging players to share feedback to help shape the final content.

The Final Closed Beta will once again provide players with opportunities to submit feedback. North American and European players can register through Steam, with dedicated servers available across two weekends: December 12–14 and December 19–21.
Not 2 Teams, but 5 Teams
Project ZETA is developed by Nirvanana, a studio formed by former developers of Eternal Return. The game challenges conventional MOBA design in two ways.
First, instead of the traditional 5v5 structure, Project ZETA features five teams competing simultaneously for the most valuable resource on the map: Prisms. Players can get Prisms through various methods, allowing for multiple strategic paths to winning.

Second, the game adopts a third-person view rather than an isometric perspective, giving combat a more action-driven and kinetic feel.

Resource Transport and Risk
Like many modern MOBAs, Project ZETA incorporates a PvPvE structure. Defeating neutral monsters grants experience and Shards, which can be used to upgrade skills, improve stats, and reduce ability cooldowns. Boss enemies provide these rewards as well, along with Prisms.

However, simply obtaining a Prism is not enough. Players must transport it back to the center of the map for it to count toward their score. In a match featuring five competing teams, carrying valuable resources often means becoming a high-priority target for the other four squads.

13Hero & 4 distinct roles
Strategy in Project ZETA changes rapidly. With five teams roaming the Aran Highlands, adaptability becomes essential. Players must decide when to focus on clearing monsters to build momentum, while also tracking enemy positions to determine whether cooperation or confrontation is the better option at any given moment.

Hero selection further shapes each match. The current roster includes 13 playable heroes, with more planned for future updates. Heroes are divided into four roles: Warrior, Marksman, Assassin, and Mage, each influencing team composition and tactical decisions.

Major Changes Since the Last Test
Six months have passed since Project ZETA’s second closed test, and the game has undergone its most significant period of development so far. The upcoming test introduces two new heroes, alongside broad visual and ability updates across much of the roster.
Additional changes include new equipment capable of shifting match dynamics, a redesigned environment, a streamlined Prism scoring system, and fixes to team respawn mechanics. All of these adjustments are based directly on player feedback from previous testing phases.
