On November 11, 2025, the Dota 2 client launched the grand Dota x Monster Hunter Collaboration Event, featuring brand-new themed sets, an adorable companion, and a completely new in-game Hunting and Crafting System. Players can claim a free courier, six base hero sets, and a Monster Hunter-themed Ancient Relic, featuring five dragon variants. Purchasing the Expedition Bundle unlocks additional exclusive versions with enhanced effects. 

The Expedition Bundle also includes the Monster Hunter Music Pack, Poogie Statue Pet, Dragon Form for Dragon Knight, Beastmaster's Boar, and a Seasonal Hunter Spray Pack. The bundle is available now in the Dota 2.

Free Rewards! Monster Hunter-Themed Relics and Hero Sets

Log in to Dota 2 now to claim your Seasonal Monster Relic Pack, summoning five legendary monsters — Barioth, Gore Magala, Rathalos, Rathian, and Seregios — to soar above your Ancient at the start of each match.

At the start of each Dota match, select one enemy hero as your hunting target. Each hero grants unique crafting materials. Win the match to obtain all listed materials — or earn partial rewards even in defeat.

Being the first to participate in the target’s takedown grants bonus materials.

The Expedition Bundle has it all — instantly unlock Poogie the Statue Pet, Dragon Knight’s Rathalos Form, Beastmaster’s Boar, the Monster Hunter Music Pack, a Seasonal Hunter Spray Pack, and the materials to craft all six hero sets.

Poogie, the statue pet, is a new kind of companion. While you’re safe in base, he’ll wander around your hero, bringing cheer and charm. When you leave, he’ll wait near your statue or another safe spot to stay out of the way. Should your statue fall, Poogie will flee to safety until your next match.

The Monster Hunter Music Pack features 11 dynamic tracks from Monster Hunter: World, filling the battlefield with official hunting themes.

Equip Dragon Knight’s Rathalos Form to transform into the King of the Skies himself, complete with custom animations, sound, and visuals. Beastmaster’s Boar, an Immortal-quality item, replaces his default boar with a fully reimagined model, effects, and voice.

The bundle also unlocks advanced crafting blueprints, allowing you to forge exclusive hero variants, Palico outfits, and extra Poogie styles.

The Felyne Courier features five alternate outfits: Rathalos, Zinogre, Kirin, Odogaron, and Bone Armor.

The Sniper’s Odogaron Armor includes three variants: Terrorwood, Foxfire, and Prismatic.

The Dragon Knight’s Rathalos Armor comes in Imperial, Abyssal, and Prismatic versions.

Hunter Records: Your Proof of the Hunt

This event introduces a brand-new progress tracking system.

Your Hunter Codex logs every hero you encounter during the event, unlocking stickers, materials, and field notes. Progress is earned whether the hero appears as an ally, foe, or your own pick.

Playing matches raises your Hunter Rank, rewarding exclusive Monster Hunter chat wheel sounds, seasonal sprays, and extra crafting materials.
