Gravity Game Unite (GGU) has announced the 2nd Open Beta Test for Ragnarok Zero: Global, scheduled to run from July 7 to July 14, 2026. Positioned as the first global PC service for the Ragnarok franchise, the MMORPG preserves the classic Ragnarok Online experience while introducing modern progression improvements, quality-of-life enhancements, and new content for players worldwide.

Players across Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania will be able to join the test by registering through the official website and downloading the PC client. The upcoming test also introduces three headline additions: the linked companion game Get Poring, the franchise's first user-generated content feature RO Factory, and the new cooperative PvE activity MVP Raid.

Rebuilding a Classic for a New Generation

Rather than reinventing the original, Ragnarok Zero: Global preserves the core experience of Ragnarok Online while modernizing it for today's players. The game retains Midgard, its signature 2D pixel visuals, and classic progression, while adding new stories, streamlined character growth, redesigned UI and UX, improved travel, expanded camera controls, and optional auto-combat for a smoother adventure.

Three New Features Lead the 2nd Open Beta Test

The upcoming Open Beta Test expands Ragnarok Zero: Global with three major additions that introduce new ways to play, create, and cooperate.

The 2nd Open Beta Test introduces three major additions. Get Poring lets players collect and raise Porings that can accompany them in Ragnarok Zero: Global, while RO Factory becomes the franchise's first user-generated content (UGC) feature, allowing players to create and share custom footprint cosmetics. The update also adds MVP Raid, a new cooperative PvE activity where parties take on powerful MVP monsters for equipment, loot, and quest rewards.

Pre-Registration Continues Ahead of Launch

Alongside the announcement of the 2nd Open Beta Test, pre-registration for Ragnarok Zero: Global remains available through the official website. Players who register in advance can participate in ongoing pre-launch events and prepare for the game's official release.
