Divine Frequency, an emerging star in the horror-FPS-RPG genre, debuted its electrifying demo at the 2023 Realms Deep event. Built on the GZDoom engine, this game transcends typical genre boundaries, offering an immersive and terrifying experience. Players assume the role of an agent exploring a sprawling, nightmare-inducing underworld, teeming with SCP-like horrors and deep lore.

The gameplay, reminiscent of System Shock 2, masterfully combines exploration, survival, and combat. Each rusted corridor and hidden corner in the game's industrial maze could unleash unspeakable horrors, keeping players in a constant state of high alert. The combat is intense and strategic, with scarce ammo and a compelling weapon degradation system adding to the challenge.

One unforgettable encounter involves a harmless mannequin, perfectly illustrating the game's blend of horror and unexpected humor. Non-combat setpieces also contribute to the eerie, unsettling ambiance.
