Yellow Brick Games, led by Dragon Age creator Mike Laidlaw and a team of Ubisoft veterans, has announced the release window for their debut title, "Eternal Strands." This highly anticipated fantasy RPG is set to launch in early 2025 for Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 after nearly five years of development.

"Eternal Strands" invites players into the Enclave, a richly interactive world where creativity and reactivity are key. Players will navigate diverse environments affected by extreme weather, from flash freezes in lush forests to heatwaves in ancient ruins. The game challenges players to defeat nine towering bosses known as Epics, using harvested strands to unlock new magical abilities.

The gameplay emphasizes a sandbox experience, allowing players to interact with almost every aspect of the world. Players will craft and customize gear, forge new powers, and master synergies between elements like steel, frost, flame, and kinetic magic. The central hub, basecamp, serves as a place to prepare for battles and explore the lore of the Enclave.

The game also features a unique cast of fully voice-acted characters, known as the Weaverband, including talents from popular games and TV series. These companions will assist players in gearing up for expeditions and uncovering the mysteries of the Enclave, a once-thriving center of magic now left in ruins.

Mike Laidlaw, Chief Creative Officer at Yellow Brick Games, emphasizes the gameplay-first philosophy that guided the development of "Eternal Strands." The game promises a seamless integration of epic battles, engaging storytelling, and innovative gameplay, offering a unique experience for fans of thrilling combat and rich narratives.

Prepare to take up the mantle and explore the magical world of "Eternal Strands" when it launches in early 2025.
