Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, the strategy RPG based on the popular Girls' Frontline franchise, will soon go global. The developers have already opened the English accounts for the game, and now we are waiting for the test phase and the official release on both PC and mobile.

The game was officially launched in China last year for PC and mobile, and exactly half a year later we have the news of the English version to enjoy. The game comes from China-based developer MICA Team, who also developed the prequel that was first released in 2016.

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium presents a fantastic dystopian world.

A simple overview of the game: based on the Girls' Frontline universe, the game is set in a dystopian future where players control T-Dolls (tactical dolls) to fight various threats. The story follows Griffin, a powerful security contractor who faces threats from the government. Griffin leads a group of androids on a journey through a polluted wasteland to reach a purification zone.

As far as we can tell, the game is a healthy mix of real-time strategy and turn-based tactics. There are both returning characters from the original Girls' Frontline and new T-Dolls with unique abilities that you can customise with various equipment, skins and upgrades.

It's gaining followers on several social media platforms. On X, it had over 11,000 followers just an hour after the official tweet, which is surely a good sign for the developers.

There's currently no specific information about the English and global versions of Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, including release details. With testing likely to begin soon after the accounts are opened, we'll have to wait for further updates. Stay tuned for the latest details and keep an eye on the official website for more information.
