Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok Opens Pre-Orders, Reveals New Trailer

Cygames announced on May 14 that pre-orders have officially opened for, the upcoming sequel to Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The ga Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarokme is scheduled to launch on July 9 for PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.

Alongside the pre-order announcement, Cygames released a new trailer titled “Strength & Darkness”, offering a closer look at the sequel’s story direction and several newly introduced characters tied to the game’s central conflict.

The trailer revealed two new playable characters, Frau and Fediel, while also introducing “The World”, a member of the Arcarum series, as a major opposing force within the story. According to Cygames, Endless Ragnarok will add six entirely new playable characters, bringing the total roster count to 29 characters when combined with the previous title’s lineup.

Cygames also shared new details regarding the sequel’s expanded combat systems, including a newly introduced “Summon” mechanic. By equipping summon stones obtained through story progression, players will be able to summon primal beasts during battle. Some summons allow temporary direct control of the summoned entity, while others provide party-wide enhancement effects.

Special summon stones featuring Lucifer and Roland were also confirmed. In addition, the game introduces a new combat feature called “Ascend Chain”, which allows Lyria to summon primal beasts for follow-up attacks when players successfully execute linked Skybound Arts during Link Time.

A brand-new game mode titled “Abyssal Void” was also unveiled. Designed as a single-player-exclusive progression mode, it features procedurally generated stages that players must clear while descending deeper into the area. During exploration, players can strengthen their builds using exclusive buffs and obtain large quantities of upgrade materials for weapons and sigils.

Pre-orders are currently available through My Nintendo Store and the PlayStation Store. While the Steam version does not currently support pre-orders, users can add the game to their wishlist. Cygames also confirmed that collaboration bonuses tied to Granblue Fantasy are planned, with further details to be announced at a later date.
