How to Beat Lace Beast in Hollow Knight Silksong

• Jump to Avoid Attacks

Most of Lace’s standard attacks can be avoided with well-timed jumps. Watch her body language—when she raises her weapon or pauses, she’s likely about to swing.

• Attack After Her Moves

Lace always has a short recovery window after performing an attack. Use a jump dash to dodge her strike, then move behind her and punish with a few quick hits before she recovers.

• Stay Out of Lace's Special Attack AoE

Her special leap attack begins with a large circle indicator appearing on the ground. Stay outside of this zone to completely avoid the devastating combo that follows.

Lace Attack Patterns

 - Double Slash

A quick two-hit combo that lets Lace close short distances in front of her.

 - Flurry Attack

A 2-second barrage of rapid strikes. It’s easy to dodge by staying well out of range.

 - Dash Attack

Lace steadies herself with a two-handed stance before lunging forward in a straight line.

 - Normal Leap Attack

She jumps into the air and dives down, striking at Hornet’s location.

 - Special Leap Attack

After channeling for ~3 seconds, Lace launches into the air and performs a multi-hit combo that ends with a powerful ground strike. The attack only affects the area inside the circle shown before she leaps.
