SuperGaming’s highly anticipated battle royale title, Indus Battle Royale Mobile, has officially launched its open beta test, following multiple rounds of closed beta tests. Many battle royale fans have likely heard of this game, but until now, it has only been available for offline demos and internal testing. The developers have clearly been dedicated to perfecting the game, and now, with the open beta, a wider audience can finally experience it. The open beta is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

New Grudge System Introduced in Indus Battle Royale

Indus is SuperGaming’s India-inspired battle royale game, initially slated for release in 2022. Since its first trailer, the game has achieved significant milestones, including surpassing a million registrations by February 2023 and amassing over 7 million pre-registrations by the time of the inaugural Esports Invitational tournament in October 2023.

In Indus, players, known as Mythwalkers, are tasked by COVEN to retrieve Cosmium, the galaxy’s most valuable resource, on the mysterious planet Indus. This unique substance can manifest during battles, offering instant victory to those who find it—sometimes before the last player is even standing. The game features next-gen gunplay on mobile, taking players on an epic quest for glory and riches.

What's New in the Open Beta?

The open beta introduces an exciting new feature called the Grudge System, where revenge takes center stage. If a player is eliminated by an opponent during a match, they have the option to declare a Grudge. This system then prioritizes placing the two players in future matches, giving them a chance to settle the score. Should you defeat the player who previously eliminated you, you’ll earn rewards such as new character looks, exclusive cosmetics, and other in-game goodies.

How to Download and Play Indus Open Beta

Steps for Android Users:

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.

2. Search for Indus Battle Royale and select the game. You can directly access the game here.

Special Pre-Launch Battle Pass

A limited-time pre-launch battle pass for Indus is now available, priced at 150 Indus Credits, the in-game currency. This battle pass offers exclusive rewards, including the Legendary Avatar Heena, inspired by athlete Heena Sidhu, as well as special skins for vehicles and weapons.

The official release date of the game has not yet been announced. Players who don’t have the opportunity to participate in the open beta will need to wait for further testing phases or the official launch.
