Developer Amazing Seasun Games has announced that players will soon be able to experience their upcoming multiplayer shooter, Mecha BREAK, through an open beta test starting in early August 2024. Interested players can sign up for the Mecha BREAK beta test on PC. The game is targeting both PC and current generation consoles for its official release.

Open Beta Details:

- Dates: The Open Beta is scheduled to run from 10th to 13th August 2024. This will be preceded by a limited access beta test from the 2nd to the 8th of August.

- Platform: Players can sign up for the beta on the Mecha BREAK Steam Store page. The open beta will be available on PC only.

- Regions: The beta will be open to players in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

- Access: The Limited Access Beta will be available to a select group of players. Codes for this phase will also be distributed through the Twitch Drops system, which rewards viewers for watching streams of the game.

New features in the Open Beta:

- Battlefield Mode: A 6v6 team activity will be the focus of the Open Beta.

- New Mech: Players will be able to pilot a new mech model called the Stego.

- Gameplay tweaks: Significant changes to the speed of in-game combat will be tested to speed up the pace of combat.

Beta Test Limitations:

- Server Reset: There will be a short server reset period between the restricted and open access phases.

- Platform Restrictions: Access to the beta requires the use of Steam and a PC. Other platforms, such as Xbox, will have separate closed beta tests at a later date.
