Smilegate Unveils New RPG Chaos Zero Nightmare for H2 Launch
Smilegate, the renowned South Korean developer behind the popular first-person shooter Crossfire, has unveiled an exciting teaser for its upcoming role-playing game (RPG) entitled Chaos Zero Nightmare. Developed by Kim Hyung-seok, Co-CEO of Super Creative (a subsidiary of Smilegate), known for the worldwide hit mobile RPG Epic Seven, Chaos Zero Nightmare is scheduled for a global release in the second half of this year, excluding China.
Chaos Zero Nightmare promises a fresh gaming experience by combining 2D production technologies refined by Epic Seven with elements of a roguelike RPG. Traditionally, roguelike games are characterised by dungeon crawling through procedurally generated levels, turn-based gameplay, grid-based movement and the constant death of the player's character.
The game's innovative approach is set to captivate RPG enthusiasts worldwide. Smilegate plans to release a teaser next month that will introduce the diverse cast of characters in Chaos Zero Nightmare, further building anticipation for the game's upcoming global launch.
