Profession Breakdown
[Warrior]
The top tank with strong survivability, providing a better environment for team performance in dungeons. As long as the tank isn't defeated, there's hope of challenging all bosses. Essential in PvE, but average in PvP.
[Paladin]
Acts as a sub-tank with the highest output among the warrior professions. Able to effectively pull groups of monsters and perform well in dungeon raids due to strong AOE. Provides good burst and continuous damage when focused on output. Recommended for beginners due to ease of use.
[Barbarian Fighter]
Functions as a sub-tank early on, but can become a main tank later with better equipment. Offers a balanced set of abilities, but is more difficult to use than Warriors and Paladins. Players must have a thorough understanding of skills and techniques.
[Ranger]
A pure ranged DPS with average output. The Hunter specialisation requires a good environment for high output, while the Beast Mastery specialisation requires a solid understanding of the class. As well as being a DPS in PvE, the Ranger provides group speed buffs and cooperative skills, making it versatile in dungeons.
[Mage]
Another pure ranged DPS. The Ice Mage excels at control and pulling, and performs better in PvP. Fire Mage focuses on burst damage and requires a stable output environment to be effective.
[Shadow Swordsman]
The best pure output profession, but requires a high skill level. There's a big difference between good and bad play. Ideal for those who are confident in their MMORPG skills. Excellent in both PvE and PvP.
[Priest]
Highly effective at healing, making it a good choice for players who enjoy playing a supporting role. However, their output ability is average. Recommended for players who focus on pure healing.
[Phantom Necro]
Provides less healing than a Priest, but more damage. Has a complex operation that requires a good understanding of the mechanics of the profession. The strongest healer in PvP. Ideal for players who enjoy both healing and damage.
[Bard]
The most productive of the healers, but with average healing and a complex operation. Has strong group damage reduction skills, which enhances its role in PvE. A great support profession with strong output capabilities, suitable for players who prefer aggressive support roles.
Choose your profession based on your preferred play style and the role you want to play in both PvE and PvP content.
