Nexon announced that the domestic closed beta test (CBT) for Azur Promilia officially began on May 15. The fantasy world RPG is currently being developed by Manjuu Games, the studio known for Azur Lane.

The CBT will run through May 18 on PC (Windows) and Android devices, allowing selected players to explore the fantasy continent of Promilia and interact with more than 180 companion creatures known as “Kibo.” According to the developers, players can befriend these creatures and use them across a variety of gameplay systems, including environmental puzzle-solving, combat support, construction, and item crafting.

In addition to exploration and progression systems, the beta also includes several gameplay modes and activities. These include the cooperative PvE mode “Crisis Subjugation,” the one-on-one strategy-focused “Kibo Battle” mode, as well as a range of mini-games.

Following Nexon’s domestic publishing agreement announcement earlier this year, the company has continued preparations for the game’s Korean launch through promotional appearances and community-focused events, including participation at Comic World in March. Ahead of the CBT, Manjuu Games CEO Lin Shuyin and the development team released a developer note encouraging player participation and feedback, while also confirming that a survey targeting Korean users would begin on May 16.
