Scorched Nebraska, Procedura Corp's new MMO game
Procedura Corp.'s new MMO title, Scorched Nebraska, made its grand debut at the "GDC Game Festival 2026," which opened on March 9, 2026, in San Francisco.

Scorched Nebraska is a "post-post-apocalyptic" MMO centered on "information competition" where players reshape the world by deciphering geographical clues across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
In this world, players step into the shoes of wasteland explorers. The core gameplay revolves around a loop of "Scan → Deduce → Act → Leave a Mark." Similar to Death Stranding, players can explore the world and acquire treasures through information left behind by others. They can also create their own secrets, leave messages, or even package discovered secrets into "maps" to sell. Alternatively, players can use this information to establish their own secret bases.

Features:
A real-time AI control system provides a more immersive and realistic gameplay experience. The game world is described as a "dynamic system that is not composed of static map data, but rather of countless 'differences' and the 'presence of agents.'"

Every coordinate on this massive map records events that have occurred over the past 400 years. Footprints left by players are never erased; instead, they accumulate as "energy." The world generates "Heat" based on player behavior: high-activity areas become bustling and resource-rich, while rarely visited wilderness areas remain suited for quiet puzzle-solving and deep exploration.

An "Information Economy" exists within the game world, where the first person to discover a piece of information gains exclusive use rights for a limited time. Players can decide whether to go public with their "knowledge" for rewards or keep it secret as a strategic foothold. Furthermore, this information serves as the foundation for the game's unique PvP—a form of intelligence warfare. Interfering with an opponent's investigation or deceiving them by spreading false clues is key to the PvP experience.

The primary method for obtaining information is "Field Research" using a camera. When you photograph landscapes or textures, the system analyzes and converts them into "patterns," which can be used for in-game crafting and serve as tangible information resources.

As mentioned above, the game is highly imaginative, telling a story of picking up "fragments" to "rebuild" the full picture of the world. Currently, the game is in its early exposure stage, and specific development details have not yet been released. We will continue to track and report on this fascinating title.
