Shape a Cosy Community in Town to City, Now in Early Access
Publisher Kwalee and independent developer Galaxy Grove from UK have announced that their city-building game Town to City is now available in Early Access on PC via Steam. The title comes from the creators of Station to Station and combines open-ended building tools with community management in a 19th-century setting.
Early Access Content
The current Early Access version includes:
A story-driven campaign with two maps
Sandbox mode across five maps
Eight city stages and six monuments
More than 30 quests to complete
Players can build at their own pace—either by progressing through the campaign or experimenting in sandbox mode. Every building, road and garden can be placed freely, allowing towns to grow organically or be carefully planned.
Trailer and Player Feedback
A new launch trailer highlights the game’s voxel-style towns, plazas and citizens, as well as mechanics such as population happiness and economic growth.
Joost van Dongen, Game Director at Galaxy Grove, said:
“The creativity shown by our demo and beta players has been inspiring, and with the community’s feedback we’ve made the game even better. We look forward to seeing what players will create in Early Access and to continuing development with their input.”
Pricing and Availability
Town to City is available on Steam for $24.99 / €24.99 / £21.99, with an introductory 10% discount during the first week of Early Access. A free demo, which has already earned an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, is also available.
