The development team Frost Giant Studios, composed of former developers from 'StarCraft II' and 'Warcraft III,' is currently working on the PC real-time strategy game 'Stormgate.' Taking advantage of the New Year, the development team has released a new video, offering players a glimpse into the progress of the game's development over the past year.

Frost Giant Studios was co-founded by Tim Morten, former Production Director of 'StarCraft II,' and Tim Campbell, former Lead Campaign Designer for 'Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.' James Anhalt, former Chief Engineer of 'StarCraft II,' serves as the Chief Architect.

'Stormgate' emphasizes streamlined inputs, automatic unit allocation, and improved gameplay to make real-time strategy gaming more accessible for players interested in trying the genre. The game's narrative unfolds as malevolent extraterrestrial invaders swarm out of the 'Stormgates,' greedily seizing control of the planet and destroying the familiar world of the players. Humanity faces extinction, and the remaining survivors unite to rebuild and reignite hope for the future.

The game is expected to be released this summer, and we can anticipate further polishing during this time. Let's look forward to seeing how the game will ultimately present itself!
