Netmarble Reveals MMORPG SOL: Enchant Ahead of June 18 Launch
Netmarble has provided a first hands-on look at SOL: Enchant, a new MMORPG developed by Alt9, a studio formed by members of the development team behind Lineage M. The game was recently showcased to the media through a playable PC build ahead of its official launch on June 18 at 12:00 PM.

Built around the concept of gods and divine power, SOL: Enchant will launch with three playable classes: Knight, Ranger, and Mage. Players can customize their combat style through active skills assigned to quick slots, with support for multiple skill presets.

The game adopts a traditional MMORPG structure centered on quest progression and field hunting. One of its defining features is the Divine Authority system, which grants powers divided into four categories: Punishment, Creation, Grace, and Control. These abilities can deal direct damage, summon monsters or equipment, provide progression buffs such as increased experience gain, or influence regional PvP settings. Higher divine tiers are planned for future updates.

Another core system revolves around a resource known as Nine, which serves as the foundation of both progression and the in-game economy. Nine is required for equipment enhancement, crafting, and various character growth systems, while also functioning as a tradable commodity through the marketplace. Most equipment items can be traded between players, alongside progression-related assets such as God Armor and Spirit companions.

Character growth extends beyond equipment upgrades, incorporating systems such as avatars, pets, runes, research, and collection bonuses. According to the developers, progression materials can be obtained through gameplay as well as other acquisition methods, with accessories specifically available through in-game activities.

To support long-term progression, SOL: Enchant includes several automation-focused features, including offline play systems, squad-based automated hunting, and scheduling functions designed to streamline farming and resource collection. At launch, PvP content will primarily focus on open-field combat, while instanced activities will center on dungeon gameplay. Netmarble and Alt9 have stated that future updates will expand the game's competitive offerings with additional content, including war zones and inter-server battles.

Pre-registration for SOL: Enchant has been available since March 5 through the game's official website and app stores, with participants eligible to receive various in-game rewards, including an Infinite HP Potion. Character name reservations will open on May 29, allowing players to secure a unique nickname ahead of the game's June 18 release on PC and mobile platforms.
