Psychological Horror Game Necrophosis: Full Consciousness Out Now
PQube and Dragonis Games have announced that Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is now available on PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S in both digital and physical editions, as of May 28, 2026. Launching on consoles for the first time, the complete edition also includes the newly released Subconsciousness DLC.
A first-person psychological horror experience set in a surreal, decaying world where only death endures. With no weapons or combat, the gameplay focuses on dread, exploration, and unsettling puzzles.
Players can now enter Necrophosis: Full Consciousness, an experience shaped by surrealist influences reminiscent of Zdzisław Beksiński and the cosmic horror legacy of H.P. Lovecraft.
Necrophosis is set across a series of distant, death-soaked realms, each defined by unsettling and surreal environmental design. The game follows players as they traverse these macabre landscapes and uncover fragments of a fading cosmic order.
Narrative poetry is integrated throughout the experience, providing additional context to its abstract backstory. Players also encounter a range of ancient, Lovecraftian-inspired entities, including Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, Khnum, and the Yellow King.
The digital edition is priced at $19.99/£16.99 and includes Necrophosis and the Subconsciousness DLC. The physical PlayStation 5 edition is available for $34.99/£29.99 and also includes The Shore: Enhanced Edition in addition to Necrophosis and the Subconsciousness DLC.
