• Use Pogo Attacks During Her Dive

When the Moss Mother lowers her body and aims her stinger at Hornet, she’s preparing to dive. The safest response is to jump at the right moment, then pogo on her by striking downward as she passes beneath you. Since the battle takes place in a tight arena, anticipating her dive and countering with pogo slashes is more reliable than trying to dodge away.

• Watch for Falling Rocks

After Moss Mother smashes into the ceiling, dust particles will drift down from spots where rocks are about to fall. Pay attention to these warning signs and dash out of those areas quickly to avoid taking damage.
