On June 2, the official EMPULSE team released a statement detailing the core development philosophy behind their upcoming 6v6 movement-focused shooter and debuted the game’s first cinematic trailer. The title’s global gameplay reveal is scheduled for June 7 during the PC Gaming Show, and the game is already available for wishlist addition on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.

Set in the dystopian city of Freehold, EMPULSE emphasizes fast-paced combat and player mobility. Matches revolve around strategic movement, including wall-running, grappling hook swings, momentum-based Holojumps, and environmental manipulation with P.A.I.N.T. bombs. Each map area is designed to provide continuous movement opportunities, vertical traversal, and multiple tactical routes.

Mechs spawn across the battlefield as high-value objectives, equipped with heavy weapons, unique abilities, and high durability. Players can seize mechs to gain a decisive advantage or team up to neutralize them, potentially turning the tide of a match.

The developers have chosen an early access model to allow the community to influence the game's ongoing evolution. The team plans to remain active on Reddit and Discord, collecting feedback to refine core gameplay systems, including parkour mechanics, map flow, and mech balance.

With multiple maps, modes, and progression systems planned, EMPULSE aims to deliver a competitive, high-mobility shooter experience for fans of fast-paced tactical gameplay.
