Never Wither is a multiplayer survival crafting ARPG currently in development at Geo Seed Games, with publishing handled by Luckycalf. Players can sign up for the playtest directly through Steam, with the three-day test set to run from May 29 to June 1, 2026. The studio also says additional recruitment events and access giveaways are planned for the future.

Geo Seed Games has provided a clearer look at the world of Edda, described by the studio as a nature-inspired fantasy setting. The Valley is presented as the starting area for players, featuring bright forest clearings, denser woods, and quiet ponds that shift in atmosphere between day and night. Further into the world, the Plateau introduces a harsher environment, with cliffs, open plains, ancient ruins, and creatures associated with a corrupted World Tree.

The player is not a traditional hero but instead takes the form of a shapeshifting being. According to the developers, this design choice supports the game's core concept of possessing and taming creatures, many of which can also fulfill different roles within the world.

Beyond combat, Never Wither also features a full survival and building system. Players are required to gather resources, construct temples and camps, and manage residents and companions. Creature companions can assist with gathering, transporting materials, and farming, and may even be transformed directly into buildings or defensive structures.

The game supports online cooperative multiplayer, allowing players to form groups with friends, establish clans, and compete for territory and resources. It also offers private server options for those who prefer to focus on building and exploration without broader multiplayer competition.
