Sleep No More Studio has announced that the open beta for Reign of Nightfall, previously known under the codename “Project Bang Bang,” will begin across Android platforms in mainland China on June 5, 2026. Pre-downloads for the open beta are scheduled to begin on June 3 at 10:00 AM local time.

The game’s world and visual direction are heavily inspired by Italian aesthetics and aristocratic themes. The story follows a noble-born female protagonist seeking to restore her fallen family while pursuing revenge.

Alongside the announcement, the game’s pre-registration milestone campaign has also gone live. According to the developers, players will be able to unlock milestone rewards, including a ten-pull summon reward, once pre-registration goals are achieved during the open beta period.

Prior to the upcoming public test, Reign of Nightfall had already undergone three rounds of testing in mainland China. The developers also confirmed that the game’s pre-registration count has surpassed 10 million users ahead of the open beta.

Described as a Otome RPG, the game places players in the role of a female mafia leader tasked with rebuilding her faction and expanding her influence. Players will command various character types and combine different tactical approaches in battle in order to secure victories and strengthen their organization.

Reign of Nightfall will feature both Chinese and English voice-over options during the open beta period.
