Tomo: Endless Blue Reveals First Gameplay Trailer Opens Kickstarter Campaign,
Indie developer Onibi Studio has launched the Kickstarter campaign for Tomo: Endless Blue and released the game's first pre-alpha gameplay trailer. Scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in late 2026, the title is an open-world voxel RPG that blends creature collecting, sandbox construction, action combat, and procedural world generation into a single adventure.
A Procedurally Generated Ocean World
Set in the mysterious Endless Blue, the game features procedurally generated worlds where every player experiences a unique journey. Islands, settlements, landmarks, cultures, NPCs, quests, and stories are generated dynamically, creating a different world with each playthrough.
According to Onibi Studio, villages feature distinct architectural styles and belief systems, while NPCs possess individual personalities and dialogue. Narrative events and quests can also evolve based on world conditions and player actions.
The game is designed to function entirely offline, requiring no internet connection for its core content.

Capture, Train, and Adventure With Tomo
At the center of the experience are the game's companion creatures, known as Tomo. Players can discover, capture, train, and evolve a wide variety of creatures throughout the world.
Capturing Tomo involves more than direct combat. Players can study creature behavior, use environmental advantages, deploy bait or traps, and adapt their strategies to different situations. Tomo react dynamically to their surroundings, traveling in groups, responding to player actions, and fleeing from danger when threatened.

Sandbox Building and Physics-Based Creativity
The game's voxel-based construction system allows players to build houses, ships, vehicles, machinery, and other structures that are governed by physics. These creations are not purely cosmetic and can be used for transportation, exploration, combat, and resource management.Tomo can also assist with farming, gathering materials, construction, terraforming, automated production, and powering mechanical devices.

Action Combat and Creative Tools
Combat takes place in real time and allows players to switch between their character and Tomo companions. Battles incorporate skill combinations, positioning, timing, and destructible voxel terrain, encouraging tactical decision-making during encounters.
Beyond the main adventure, the game will include a dedicated Creative Mode. Players will be able to create custom maps, structures, and gameplay experiences, while a no-code mini-game creation system and modding API are planned to support community-generated content.

The game's Kickstarter campaign is now live, while the first pre-alpha gameplay footage offers an early look at its creature-collecting mechanics, procedural world generation, sandbox building systems, and multiplayer exploration features.
Tomo: Endless Blue is currently scheduled for release on PC via Steam in late 2026.
